What is control?
Do you believe you are in control of your life?
Why?

I can relate to wanting to feel alive. I won't speak against you when you put it like that. However I will caution you to not attach deeply to such things. There are a million ways to feel alive. I suggest you explore them before you let anger and fear make you feel alive.
Fear, anger, feeling alive because of them... it's an addiction. Plain and simple. It feels good, you do it again, and soon enough you can't stop doing it.
it's fire I tell you, and fire burns! You've already been burned so I won't say it will burn you. Someday you will get tired of the burning and you'll stop though.

You sound young. or perhaps you are very well supported.
I'm very independent. I can't afford to have "breakthroughs" anymore, at least not like I once did. I have a secret desire for them, and for the fire too, but I've grown too wise and experienced too much to give in to those desires. Perhaps that is why i spoke out so strongly.

I acknowledge it's strength but it doesn't dominate me most of the time. Somehow I naturally level off.
You're right but I find trying to control it makes it bigger.I am not saying I am invulnerable. I can't control the fire and don't want to try but I like how it makes me feel alive sometimes. Anger and rage can bring a sense clarity like nothing else.
Maybe you're right, but then curiosity.
I like to think of them as mental breakthroughs.
