It used to be (circa 1880) you could get 2 whiskeys for 2 bits (quarter).
I do not think I ever worked at the doubleword level but I did work at the "nibble and bits" level a lot.

We cannot... No matter how painful or unjust or how un-fair, dwell on things . If I thought too long and hard about everything that's happens in life I swear I would lose mind.Being born highly sensitive and empath I cannot cope or bear all the terrible things that happen. I just can't. It causes me too much pain. HOWEVER... If any of these events have effected your personally .. then you have my deepest sympathy. if not then sweetheart I have to say... Karma? Maybe... Perhaps... But we just have to accept was is.. everything... And I mean , Everything becomes apparent in time.
