Have you noticed?

How many people's guides are either native American, Egyptian, a Benedictine monk or a Buddhist or other oriental monk??

What's that all about? Wishful thinking or something to it...?

Perhaps they appear to us like this as we somehow respect them more as a teacher/guide?

Just an observation...

Blessings

I have all three Abikisses. Heehee.

Different guides for different purposes i wonder? The Native Americans were a supremely spiritual and wise race. they lived their lives in worship of mother earth.

The Egyptians were powerful and magical and mysterious, they have much to teach on mystery schools. They searched for the truth of eternal life and have now found it as guides.

Buddhist guides teach about love and how to find peace within ourselves.

That's just my two pennies worth anyway. LOL

Spirit mentors can appear in just about any form they choose, so they will choose one which resonates with our energy and their work with us. This form will also bring in the vibration of a particular teaching which we need, so native americans bring in earth-based, traditional energies, while buddhists bring in eastern philosophies, monks and nuns bring in christian spirituality, animals bring in the qualities of that archtype and species and so on...
They may also chose a form which we are comfortable with or perhaps one which challenges us to think 'outside the box', so you might come across plant spirits, angels, aliens, faeries, crystals...

Yes indeed!

I just find it interesting how lots of guides appear as above.

Well, they could appear as they really are but very few of us could cope with that in the early stages of spiritual development...
