Lost abilities? Is it temporary?

Hey everyone,
I'm hoping someone may be able to help with a solution/answer.
To give a little information about my background, I have always been able to see/hear spirit and pick up on peoples energy, but it went away for a long time and I've recently just discovered it again.
That is until lately.
I had a dream about a vampire of some sort and since that dream I can no longer feel people's energy or sense/hear/see spirit. The dream had nothing significant about it. No words. I just somehow knew it was a "vampire". It did however spark my interest so I did quite a bit of research on energy vampires.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else before? I'm really lost as to what's happened, and I feel very weird not being able to access my "gifts" if you will.
If anyone has thoughts or suggestions as to how I may spark my intuition again, I would be eternally grateful.

Psychic vampires or energy vampires it is said suck the energy from you. what you need to do is to protect yourself ,you can do this by visulising a pure white light all around you.and meditation would help you to connect to your guide.just ask him questions.

It was the possibly the result of an encounter with negative energy that you have perceived to be a 'vampire'. Pay it no attention and relax, your belief in the fact you can not access your 'gifts' will only slow you down. Think positive, be positive and stay positive.
