New Old Guy Onboard
Greetings, Everyone!
I'm a big fan of Marcus Aurelius and of Stoicism in general. And I'm also interested in Plato and Aristotle and their thoughts on the nature of the soul. I am currently reading Aristotle's "On the Soul". I'm going to follow that up with his "Metaphysics". I have read Michael Newton's "Journey Souls" and found it very interesting.
As for religion, I was raised as a Lutheran but after a brief flirtation with the Southern Baptists I went apostate for about twenty years. For various reasons, I eventually reconnected with my faith and I now identify myself with the Anglican tradition.
I am looking forward to engaging in meaningful discussions on any subject.
