Herbal or green tea.
Does anyone drink either of these? Does it help spiritually?

Tea is tea!
Looking within, what do we see?
(Take it as harmless light banter my friends!)

Different herbal teas have different benefits, such as chamomile tea being soothing and good before bedtime.
Green tea is a healthy alternative to black tea.
I find that they are mostly acquired tastes and there are very few I like.
I would not say they have particular spiritual benefits, but if the body feels good then we feel good.
Peace.

The mild caffeine in green tea helps somewhat in resisting sleep during long periods of meditation with the obvious shortcoming of it being a stimulant, making delicate focus more elusive.
From personal experience, the tannins and antioxidants in it are also pretty good for cardiovascular health, which is a necessity if you want to get anything serious done.
It's just some leaves in water, though. Like candles and virtually any other novelty, toy or tool that you play with and make use of, they do nothing in and of themselves.

I and a tea drinker and I meditate regularly.
Given my personal experience, I don't think it helped me at all.

I drink loads of herbal teas, in fact I make my own. Sometimes I just grab wild herbs from the garden, or from my own herbal plants I grow indoors, or I will buy organic herbs and mix and match in non-bleached empty teabags that you can easily buy. There's so much variety out there. Depending on what I want medicinally I will use different herbs. Also caring for and working with plants intimately that way is very meditative and centering and grounding in itself.

Dandelion flowers are delicious picked straight from the garden and eaten Eating them that way feels very summery, and makes me feel connected to the flower fae You can also use the leaves in salad. Gosh I love herbs, not just in teas, in these other ways too, but I find nature very spiritual.
