It do not break the stamina.Running makes the circulation of blood in circulation with full volume and makes the heart beat normal in beating.

Agreed! I get out and jog whenever I can! When the weather is nicer in the spring, summer, and early fall, I run every single day. It's truly fulfilling.

Hi Kureigu,
Great threat on running benefits and like to add running makes heart and lungs strong and reduce the risk of heart attack by half. Oxygen inhaled during running results great amount of energy especially to your joints and promotes muscular development and improves blood circulation system. Running reduce the cholesterol level, stabilize blood pressure and prevent from depression, stress and anxiety.

Running is a wonderful exercise and it has so many health benefits. Running increases strength and helps us in fat burning. Anyway its a nice thread and all posts are wonderful.

if my joints hurt and i cant run i do squats to strenghten the muscles instead i alternate squats and rest it feels like a cardio workout

I have to say running helps me tremendously with my depression. Ive only recently learned how much it does due to not being able to run until another few months. Since I stopped running in June last year I had worse depression lack of focus and just not feeling that great. But when I do run, everything is ok :) I love to run, I recommend it for anyone but especially people who might have depression or lack of focus.

Out of the many different benefits one can get from running, i find a sense of well being and inner calmness my favorite

I was in the gym today and I was inspired to run. In fact I've been thinking of running for a while. I managed 1 minute. It felt good, but I did struggle I have to say.

I'm slightly wary about running prefering a fast walk as there is less problems on the joints - i have wonky feet and unevenness which creates a yuck - but running evenly and smoothly is fine. Too many runners do themself a mischief with their running.
