Some of the John Wayne B&W westerns are fantastic movies. Like those directed by John Ford.

As a kid, I loved the Laurel and Hardy movies, and I love them still. Vintage comedy still makes me laugh.
Some movies with Charlie Chaplin also are fun to watch.
And "Safety Last" with Harold Lloyd, of course.

There were a lot of B&W movies on tv when I was young. We had a B&W tv for ages which obviously meant that everything was B&W.

It is amazing to think that cinema is only 100 years old.

The "Ma and Pa Kettle" movies!
I loved those when I was a kid...and they were already decades old by the time I came around!

It's a wonderful life for sure.





I love the black and white Spanish films from the early days. They were so romantic and culturally enlightening.

Look how in love he looks at her I like the awkward eye contact, so simple those days : ) Music was simple and lovely too. I was clearly born in the wrong era, or at least I am being forced to tolerate this one lol
