Death in Life
The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything ~ Atisa 11th century monk
As I observe my withering dying self
I succumb to those deeper, life giving welts
Those deeper markers that death once told
No life would come, my story told
That this life could never be
Rebirthed anew in all I see
All I feel, have come to know
The greater medicine could never flow
When death in life through every thread
Moves deep within you, as life giving death
The emptiness, it fills your heart
With nothing more
Than your life giving spark
Your vital alive
Thriving heart
The fullness of your being
Coming alive
As death in life
That has to die
Life as death
Can never lie
When both as one unify
As a life giving force
We call our life
The well of medicine
Flows effortlessly forward
It fills our being
It gives life to all
When you listen deeply to your emptiness
The silent well of medicine
Can flow freely to it's recipient
All beings aligned will embrace this well
This life and death medicinal spell
This course we call our miracles
That can fill our every living cell..
