Question on Lemon Essential Oil Toxicity In Animals
I recently used lemon essential oil to wash floors and walls... then it occurred to me that lemon is toxic to cats. I don't have a cat, but I do have a dog. I tried to find information online, but some say it's ok for dogs whereas others say it is toxic.
Does anyone know the truth? The internet can be so contradictory.

There's a good reference book from Julia Lawless, the encyclopaedia of essential oil.
1 thing I remember regarding lemon essential oil is phototoxicity. i don't think the smell of lemon would have any effect on pets.
