Probably just drifted off for a minute. One hour meditation sometimes seem like a very long time, and sometimes the timer sounds very quickly. Perception of time is very very subjective, but clocks run a set tempo, so measure it like 60 beats per second, so, a musician knows time is a like fluid that one gets lost in for a while sometimes.

I have a simple theory about time...

Time passes that quickly, that what 'will be' ~ becomes 'what was' ~ even before we consciously recognize it as: 'what is'...

Therefore, the past is something that will always remain constant, the future is an unknown quantum, with the present being so infinitesimal: the human mind has no real concept of its reality...

This might not appeal to everyone, but to me: it's a real, level-headed factor...

Well if time jumps you just notice that the amount of time does not add up for all the events that occurred during the same period. With some experience one can usually pin it down to between/during which event(s) it happened.

I'm pretty sure it happens for everyone though most people are not aware enough to notice. Even for those aware, it not always possible to verify as remembering all the little events during a time period is not easy if you are busy or distracted. When I am with others who experience this phenomena, we generally agree on when and how much time was gained/lost.

If you happen to catch it in progress, everything around you changes slightly (about as much as you would expect for the amount of time). Generally it sweeps through your field of view at a steady pace. The wave of change is generally nearly planer (flat) though there are little ripples in it.

Well I've been having a lot of awareness expansion lately so it might be happening to me I just haven't noticed it..

I remember when I used to meditate, I would often come out of the session feeling like only five minutes had gone by but then checking the clock to see fifty minutes or something gone by. I always used to think it was because the time-keeping aspect in my brain had shut down a bit or something but according to this I was not completely in the 3D plane, right?

Hmm.. I just had a thought.. what if during these times when you notice these ripples you are actually noticing some course of action in the past/future being altered?

So how often do you notice these shifts?

I have experienced that on numerous occasions too though never caught it in the act. In my experience this only happens when I too am messing with time or trying to alter the past. A possibility that they are the same thing.

Also one can not always rule out jumping to parallel timelines / alternate realities. Though in these cases there is no sense of change for others. They are from that alternate reality so there was no change for them. Its also clear because your memories don't match reality but everyone else's do. If the jump is small, the changes might not be distinctly noticeable.

No, I have not.. I am too far caught up in this moment at all times that I do not notice what time it is, or isn't. Such things do not interest me. If I could, I would not even have a clock and would just go with the flow of the moment to where it would take me.

A very reasonable response, one that I follow even when I do notice.

This is something that is hard to notice. So I think it mostly goes unnoticed.
Not to long ago, maybe a year, I looked at the time on my phone. It was 11:10, so of course I looked away and looked back a couple second later to catch 11:11. But it wasn’t 11:11 I saw, it was 11:12. I know in my mind that I only turn my head for an instant. I know this is only a minute, but this was when I first noticed missing time happening to me. After thinking about this I am coming to a conclusion, that we can be taken out of time, and then place back to When we were taken from. I feel that mostly, all of this lines up, so we don’t see anything different. I am also thinking that once we are removed from this Timeline, and we could be there for, who knows how long, because we are taken out of our time.

I would like to know if anyone else has caught this happening to them.
I hope you understands what I am trying to say. Things like this can be challenging for me to write about.

Thank you for Your Time.
Peace for everyone

yea i hav
