New to wicca

Hello all,
I have been studying wicca off and on since I was about 12 or 13 but now would really like to know more and REALLY start practicing. I'm not quite sure where to begin. I guess what I'm saying is I need help. If anyone could give me guidance as to what a good start point is I would appreciate it. Btw I have been looking around for a few days and kind of know where my beliefs stand TIA
Rowena

Well, if you know where your beliefs stand, in other words what path you wish to follow then research that path, perhaps on the internet and with books. There will be something written about starting out for you to follow.

You don't say what path you're interested in so it's difficult to advise you what to do and where to start but if it's Wicca then you need to study the Sabbats and their meanings (in other The Wheel of the Year) and how to celebrate them. As well, you may wish to start getting some tools.

Meditation is always a good thing and being out in nature - see how the green world changes with the seasons because you need to be in tune with the tides of the earth and her seasons.

Rowena, this question has been asked many times in SF. It's always a good idea to track backwards through the Wicca postings to read previous answers. This gives you the benefit of lots of advice and different points of view. Happy Hunting Oh, good idea to check the Paganism back-postings too !

I would suggest that you start with Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham and Wicca for One by Raymond Buckland.
