Disconnection

Through my life there has always been a "disconnection" from the mainstream, people in particular. This comes in the form of different ways of thinking, wider insight than just the basic's of existing. I also find what many people are interested in, bores me, I find it shallow. Emotionally as I was developing, I found it extremely difficult to connection with people at school and hence it effected my emotion state at that time. Since I found interactions with those in school, who maybe on a different level, very difficult, hence, I made a conscious decision to remove myself from the equation.

Many do not even consider why they are here, what is the larger picture of life, they seem to be preoccupied with just existing, and completely unaware of other levels of thought. Childhood was a roller coaster ride, and a very emotional and difficult time, especially if your more aware of the nature of life and any spiritual connections. This leads to disconnection.

Your life experience mirrors mine. You're not alone.

I feel very different to people because my life has been very different.

But the more I accept my life as different, the more I appreciate the difference in situations in which I don't naturally fit in.

The difference now, is that I feel no painful emotions about not fitting in, it's just something that is, and I get on with life and don't feel bad about it.

This is where it begins for you, IMHO. If there are disconnections it's because we have caused them, or at least chosen to think of them as disconnections. "What is the larger picture of Life?" Because it would seem to me that there are other levels of thought that you are unaware of. The wider insight would tell you that the basics of existing - or at least the basics of existing at this level - is experience for Spirit from which we all came. There is a saying, "If you want to understand Spirit you have to think like Spirit." If you are "more aware of the nature of life and any spiritual connections" are you aware of how you are connected? I would suggest that you've missed something very important.

I agree that you seem to have missed something very important. One is indeed the understanding and feeling that we are all one.
Another thing is the understanding the larger insight that the way things are, is how it is supposed to be. For now. If everyone was to wake up and started pondering the meaning of life, the universe and everything, the world would become chaotic, wouldn't even rule out anarchy. So while a group of ppl are given the opportunity to wake up and grow and evolve, another group of people will have to keep the mundane world going. For OUR benefit as much as their own. For the entire survival and existence of the planet actually...
So their role as 'shallow people' is quite important for the greater good.
Once the group that is now evolving, waking up, is large enough and strong enough, they can be the platform so these 'shallow people' in turn can start to wake up too.
It's a large scale process that's going on and maintaining as much stability throughout this process is of the essence.
So these 'superficial' people in actual fact deserve our greatest respect and gratitude. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be able to evolve ...

If you tend to see larger pictures, it's always interesting to question things that you feel are wrong, difficult etc. You have to know that everything is in Divine Order, so there is a reason for things being the way they are, even when we feel they aren't right. So question it, yourself, that's how you can learn and grow more and more.

And yes, it can be pretty lonely at times. But as there are more and more people waking up, it isn't all that difficult to find kindred spirits. Esp among young people, as most young people are New Age ppl (Indigos, Crystals or Rainbows).

And another thing to remember is: life is also meant to be lighthearted at times. It is okay to have fun, to not always be serious! You don't have to be busy with this stuff 24/7. A lesson many of us need to learn is to lighten up and learn to laugh, even about yourself.
Balance your life. So maybe you can interact on a more mundane level at school in general and just enjoy life a bit more. And share the other aspects of yourself with other people, like-minded people.
Withdrawing from socializing is usually not the right move. You need to be in touch with other people, with normal life, to stay in touch, to stay grounded.
Sometimes we feel the need to withdraw, as we need to investigate who we are, what we stand for. In short: when you don't know yet what your role here on earth is, when you haven't got your soul's path clear yet.
This is also part of our individual process, and this can take a month or 10 years.
In the meantime try to find kindred spirits and not judge others for not being awake yet. And in general, alienated yourself from the world, doesn't help your own process. Only makes you feel more misunderstood and weird, meaning less empowered and further from your true Essence.

Love
Crystal
