My CDs have arrived. I listened to the first few tracks of "Once" by Nightwish. I'm impressed. Very epic music. Different too, but very powerful. I also got an album by Nightwish with the new singer - it will be good to compare them.

I've now listened to some of the Leaves Eyes album "Vinland Saga". I almost prefer them to Nightwish. I like Liv's voice and the music is less chaotic.

Oh my god! You did it you really bought them!! ♥ Yes Leaves Eyes is certainly lighter... :) My favorite in Once is Ghost Love Score.... Epic.....

Yes.....I was very serious about finding some new music to listen to. I've been listening to House Music and Psychedelia for the last 15 years. I needed something NEW!
Nightwish sounds better after a few listens. The style caught me by surprise at first but it settles down when you know what to expect. It is really great music.
