runes

I am on a spirit journey the most confirmation I've had is that I have been shown runes in visions for quite sometime now .

If I were to use runes for real what's the basics for using them ?

Would they speak the truth as they do in my visions ?

How do runes work ?

Any insights would be greatful thanks.

Example are they Thoth, Enochian or other ?

I usually get a x but it's more wider and flatter
i have got a upside down triangle with the two sides over lapping the point of the triangle

The other one is a
Y it has a half circle between the two points of the Y and a cross on the top.

I went to a stone circle in Stanton drew just outside Bristol and I was told by spirits to believe in the Norse .
I get images of Thor a lot in my mind

I don't understand runes I have many more if someone would like me to share them in email as I'm not very computer literate .
I was hoping someone could guide me on this please ?

I just don't want to be let down by the Norse as I have been in life sometimes .

Could be 'oq' with the 'o' in Futhark Angerth runes and your Y with circle is like a reverse 'q' in Alli Daedric.
