Reiki - clients reaction

Hi,
I am a newly qualified Reiki practitioner and I have a question in regards to how clients react while given Reiki. I had a client whose whole body started shaking and his belly was literally moving but not with breathing but more like having convulsions. Did anyone else ever experience this reaction in a client?
I am seeing this client again in a few days time and would appreciate any input greatly. Thanks in advance!

Every client reacts differently and every practitioner gives energy on different levels. No one really knows why or thinks about why. I have come to know from a very deep knowing that it is all about the level of consciousness of both. A highly conscious practioner would also have a huge heart since it is correlated. The energy goes through in a bigger way. The client with a high consciousness would take in more energy they know who they are and what they need. Also a big heart capacity and the connection BTW the practitioner and client would be bigger.

Sounds like there is something being released or trying to be released from his being.

There is still a lot we don't know about reiki. If you aren't already, before the session starts make a prayer that your angels protect you and his protect him during the session.

each client react diffrent way so dont worry just keep giving reiki he will be allright shortly

Thank you for the replies. I feel reassured now that this can happen. Yes, there was definitely strong energy going on. I will see the client again soon will keep you posted.
