God, lazy is just crazy. THe original group playing together did it the best IMO. The keyboardist is nuts... thats all i can say. I seen a video of highway star live, and the dude is rocking the entire organ back n fourth playin the hell out of that solo.
Ive heard of the other link too. Ive heard his name mentioned, but I never knew he was canadian. Hes got satans hands ( liek futurama if you watch it LOL) ( its a complament also). Its unreal what some people can do with instraments.

I'm pretty sure the deep purple link I posted was the original line up, and those hammond organs weigh a ton. John Lord actually stripped the external casing and unnecessary parts off his to make it easier to carry.
Dire Straits are one of my all time favorites and that album Love over Gold is wonderful.
I found a great acoustic guitar player named Lawson Rollins on u-tube.

That piece is mind blowing.
His album is really good and easy to listen to.

Gem, that's some great music!
I hadn't heard that one before. Definitely, got me into it!
I was thinking, as I watched them dance... & my own foot tapping... how music moves us both spiritually & physcially!

There are alot of natives in my area. Unfortunatly there are few of them who are traditional. But once in a while you still hear random pow wows here.
You have to see one in real life. The drumming is so loud you feel it in your chest. And the singing carries for a mile or more. You actualy FEEL it. Imagine this being done by 100 people, and with the traditional dance.

It's emotional, exzillerating (that's how rockers spell).
The musician puts heart and soul into it until he just loses self consciousness, that's when the magic happens. The audience gets that... can feel it.
there is hysteria, like beever feveror, beatle mania was the same, elvis craze etc... so even superstars have hysteria... but that is different to the magic.
The magic is something that takes you away...

LOLOL. Actualy, im half native (iroquois ( mowhawk and onieda), some cherokee and something else ( although im white, my dads ukranian LOL)
Thats some REAL tribal music. How could you NOT get up and move to that kind of beat?
Music is truly a window into the person/peoples soul ( who made it). Music is almost purely emotional, the only other things that are close is sex ( pleasure and love) and art. A total release of inner feelings of the people performing it. Thats the real difference between " musicians " and MUSICIANS ( ill say all artistic expression) is the energy and soul they put into it themselves. Also a good reflection on that culture and how they percieve things. Its one of the most primal aspects of humanity... sitting y the fire banging bones together for a beat...
