I "think" that we will hopefully enter into our afterlives and receive it according to the beliefs of our true-selves.

I am taught that when I come to the end of this life, I will enter into eternal life. Yet, anything is possible, and I would not be so bold as to underestimate my God. If after crossing over, one would feel the need to come back, for what ever the reason...I do not think that it is impossible or forbidden...it may even be necessary for ones soul or for the soul of another.

The issue isn't 'coming back' but switching between parallel realities. For instance, when you 'die', you may have the choice to incarnate as the very same personality in a parallel reality. That reality may be so close to the one you left that you cannot tell the difference. Hence, you don't know you have 'died'.

Having hundreds, 1,000s or more existences, all in the same Now, gives you an infinite number of choices to explore who one really is. Pick and choose which ones you want to experience.

There are some that believe that we travel in Soul Families or Soul Groups and its our Soul that has set things to experience in this grouping.

I had a regression done where I was taken back to the time just before I came in. I never connected with my Mother but I was close to may Father. He sadly left me to his passing when I was 25 and he was 56. I held this place of anger for a long time on the "wrong one dying" as I was close to my Father not my Mother. I learned that I choose (or my Soul) my Father and my Mother was like the tool in the tool box there to come in through.

This explained why no matter how hard I tried with my Mother there was nothing there. I too learned I was not pleased that I was to come in female in this life. I have to wonder if I tried to end things as my Mother had a lung collapse and found out she was pregnant at that time of surgery, then had an emergency C Section with me. I know well I was mad coming in female but I have embraced that fully now.

So on that I do feel we might well have some say in our parents but maybe not our life experiences. That aspect might well just unfold as we go along.

Regarding regression: Do you find that your Father was your Father in your past life? or Can the Soul Families change roles as you did genders?

Hello

I never looked to see what paths my Father and I have shared. The roles can change where the genders and relationships are different.

For me with the man I am going to marry he and I have shared past lives we know about. We were spinster sisters in one and we visited the house we lived in (the same house that in this life he lost his virginity in ). We were also able to find our graves in the local church yard.

In another life we had he fell to his death off a cliff that he was going to take his life from in this life. I in that life thought he took his life so I jumped to my death. We travel in the same Soul Family. That is why I feel that he just fits so well with me and my three kids. He belongs already here.

Lynn, that's beautiful that you and he not only share this connection but share the knowledge of it!

Just curious and you don't have to answer if it's too personal: When you two met in this lifetime, was is an instant connection and the place where you first saw him, (if you remember) were you some how drawn to your meeting place as if you knew some how that you needed to be there?

Do you believe that ones soul comes back to teach others as well as learn on their own journey? I mean teaching/learning kinda go hand in hand,,but I guess what I am asking is if, say a soul that is an old soul and is on their last life time is more of a teacher than a learner...maybe what they need to learn IS to teach/guide others....if that makes any sense

I believe we all are continuously learning and teaching. Why one may or may not be paired, well I'm unsure.
I am though sure that there seems to be ample opportunity to discover and offer in every life.

some 10 or more years ago had a convo with a friend who said if she ever has a baby girl, she'll give her a certain name. never told her what I thought, but my first reaction was, no you can't, thats what my baby girl will be named. the funny part is, I never wanted kids until very recently and this particular name is not common at all in my culture. this subject came up a few times over the years, and each time i had the same first gut reaction.
this winter a baby girl's energy visited me and through her for the first time I felt what motherly love must be like. her name was the same. don't know if this means she was visiting to decide whether she wants to be born to me. I think it was more a message that hey, you found my father, get busy :)
