The Shore

Met a root today
With my toe
And the Forrest
Floor
With my hands and knees.

It smells lovely
As it smarts me too
The pine of old meeting
New
The pain of pride flying
Helplessly
Irreversibly to the ground
The stain of fear
As I try and wear it
Loosely and leave it
At an unnoticed moment.

Can I speak of the steps
Before the fall?
Can I lead my friends
And foes to the feast of
Fellows
And drink with them.
Or do I need to leave
To find the finders of roots,
The callers of falls,
The heeders of heads first.

I do not mind the fall
I ****ing wish I could trust
The trusted
Blindfolded on my path as I am.

There was a clock
It kept ticking and tucking
And ringing
Sometimes too
In that old house
With old lives
Of which most stories were tragic.

With the ticking and the tocking
I learnt of life
It's limitations before
It's marvels
I'd like to think, Id let you
Find your own way.

Here, you've got a tick
And a tock let me watch
What you got
When it rings we all go away.

(Not a poem. But something.)

I'm spinning. Don't like it much. Way too high up off the ground, like one of those insane skyrise merry-go-rounds. No fun. I'm just not that young.

Not resisting, just biding my time..

Here's the thing. What I love intoxicates me. And now - this - I'm not even doing it with intensity. I'm literally just an observer, and the flow is so strong.

I live for sober. I breath clarity. I AM serenity, every space in my being is divinty

I don't know how to do this.

Sober drunk with love. Is it possible? If I allow the joy will it sweep me away into warped ego, is warped ego igniting this? Or is there a path here, where if I let go of resistance (ego), a clean and sober joy will tread out from underneath resistance' shadow, and walk with me, be my companion, be you...?

I don't fear dark any more

But will the message then be clear
If the backdrop and canvas and paint
Are all dark?

Light is
Everywhere

So, I guess I go...?

Yes, you say and smile because we both know
I know
The answer.

I just really like
Your company.

Separation has that perk
We can chose to walk together
Through the dividing times
And troubled waters
We can chose to live the material lives
Next to one another.
There is an absence
And so there can be an active presence

This I call human love
Now.

And climbing hearts

It's time

It's true

The gates are open,
We are all headed in
They will all come

My work is done
Others take over now
I rest my head in your
Gracious lap where all
Thoughts swirl into beauty
And we tenderly care
For our fleeting fears and briefly broken
Hopes

I touch your head as you rest there
And while we are called on
To witness
We need no longer stand alone.

Three torned trees
On a slant by the waters
And all the brambled bushes
In the world.

Were we lost?

Or were we placed?

And of the felling of the trees
And drying of the creek
I heard nothing til the bramble
Bush
Screamed.

The tearing of tracks
The cutting of well-laid plans
And screeching of derailed
Trains
Hurt no future

But oh how can they hurt the now!
I hold you savage
That you may find peace
It is
Just here.

Breathe.

In and out of time
The wave of living rolling in
No struggle no pain
No monsters slain

And both and all
Too
The secret room
And long in vain
Request for vision
Clarity of sight

And so we rest at ease
While working
Lending our rythm
To the seekers of sea

And meeting the travellers
As
They arrive
To the shore.
