I don't know yet when I shall conclude this test, Skybird (I know you were the first who gave an answer).

I keep repeating the target word regularly and I check here at least once a day, to see if there is any new answer. I think my longest test so far has lasted about two months.

I would plumb for 'Submarine' - possible - because it's the only one of the four, that can be submerged, without instant fatality occuring... But we'll see in the final outcome...

That's a rather interesting approach Tobi... Like the way your mind worked... Quite intuitively I'd say...

PLANE.

Intuitive Explanation: Telepathy operates on a different "plane" of consciousness in which one is either thought-free and completely receptive to subtle vibrations from afar OR the thought is very strong and continuous. (Those two cases are a good start for purposes of this thread but most assuredly do not constitute an all-inclusive explanation.) By your own initial statement, the thought is not particularly continuous. Therefore, if you are truly invested in doing a substantive telepathic experiment, it would seem that the word "plane" would intuitively be the most compelling of the four choices. Also, you enclosed the word in an "ellipse" which, by definition, is "a curve in a plane surrounding two focal points such that the sum of the distances to the two focal points is constant for every point on the curve". Once again, the word "plane" appears. In addition, the ellipse is a generalization of the circle, which is a traditional symbol for the infinite and the all encompassing unity in which all things are knowable with appropriate attention. This too suggests a certain "plane" of consciousness in which telepathic communication operates quite naturally and spontaneously. For one who is deeply aware of the telepathic phenomenon, it would seem that the word "plane" would be the most compelling intuitively for a number of reasons not limited by any means to the superficial ones that I have already mentioned.

Degree of Confidence: If you are reasonably aware of the telepathic process, I would be very confident in the choice of the word "plane" because it would seem to resonate most with the process of telepathy. If you are not reasonably aware of the telepathic process, the degree of confidence decreases to 25% (random 1 chance out of the 4 choices given).

How does one assess awareness of the telepathic process? The most direct way is to simply ask you to explain as best as possible your understanding of how telepathy operates. I've been fortunate to have met telepathic yogis throughout the world and this subject has been of interest to me. You don't have to reveal the word --- just your understanding of the process. (Of course, that alone might unconsciously reveal the word even without the intention to do so.)

It's an interesting experiment and one that can indeed be very revealing on many levels for all who participate in it. Forgive my ramblings, but that's what came up in response to your post. It may or may not be relevant. That's for you to decide. In any case, this is an interesting, thought-provoking experiment.

P.S. I am not ignoring the statement that you used a "random number generator" to select the word. The observer most assuredly affects the experiment, and the random number generator may not be as random as one would suspect.

Haha! Yes but it's probably wrong.
And in such case I will be interested about why a word starting with "Auto" sprang instantly to my mind when I'd only read the thread title.
Maybe everything isn't exactly as it seems to be.... (most likely it isn't!)
