Out Of The Body Manifesting
The middle self as the soul body should be understood and considered a visitor into the physical realm, and in its way the middle self as a visitor is not housed 24/7 in the physical body, and it departs the physical body mostly in an unconscious way, mostly during the dream state. When an action is achieved, the middle self, the conscious mind, can leave the body while in a more conscious state, and this is known as ASTRAL PROJECTION or out-of-body experience. It is the same process, but the difference is that one is committed in an act of conscious manipulation or separation or projection, whereas the majority of cases happened at the time of unconsciousness or at a time where the body had fallen asleep. An analogy is in the recent film AVATAR. This film has created a great stir and sensation, and in the film the hero laid his body into a coffin-like machine, a sarcophagus-type apparatus that allowed him to shift his conscious mind into the prefabricated bio-mechanical body that was known as the Avatar. He could fully function in this body, engaging the indigenous people, living with them, experiencing with them and in this way became as one of them, but at a certain time his real body would need sustenance and need to go to the bathroom, or would need to take a break and it was at this time that his his Avatar body would go to sleep and he would return back into his real body, which was crippled. When he returned he could be of the real world, but it became the case that with time he felt more real and more alive in his Avatar body. This very much parallels what occurs through the Spirit Self, the middle self- it enters into a body that allows it to have a physical experience in a third dimensional reality, but at certain times it must leave that body to take care of other needs. There have been experiments done where individuals were awoken at the time of dreaming. As this took place over a course of days it was seen that the individuals, even though they were receiving much sleep, were being denied of precious dream time and it was noted that these individuals were quickly becoming psychotic. It was such a problem that the experiment needed to be terminated before it was completed, because of the danger of permanent damage to those being awoken when their middle self was leaving the body to have out-of-body experiences in higher dimensional states. This is what is considered on some planes as ASTRAL PROJECTION, but ASTRAL PROJECTION as this Awareness has explained it, is simply that occurrence when the mind, the middle self is aware, versus when it exits and leaves the body in a state of unconsciousness. ALSO THE ASTRAL PROJECTED FORM DOES NOT REACH THE SAME HIGHER SPIRITUAL LEVELS, THE HIGHER LEVELS OF CONSCIOUSNESS THAT OCCUR WHEN THE BODY ITSELF IS TOTALLY UNCONSCIOUS AND THE MIDDLE SELF IS FREE TO RETURN TO THOSE HIGHER ELEVATED STATES AND DIMENSIONS.
