Walking away from what’s holding me back

This morning I had a strange dream where my mom (she died 5 years ago) picked up a phone answered Helen’s 4th story room. (My name is Helen and I have no idea what the 4th story we were on had to do with anything). I answered the phone and it was an ex boyfriend of mine. (We dated for 8 years in a different chapter of my life). He asked if I was moving there and I said yes but was exhausted of the conversation and then he tried up guilt trip me into moving and being with him and staying with him. I put the phone down and walked away. It was so freeing yet exhausting. When I woke up I felt very numb. What could this mean? Why is this old ghost resurfacing in my dream. He means nothing to me at this point in my life. Is this symbolic or is life just all coming at once in my dreams? Thanks for any comments or suggestions!

You're mom is a wise part of yourself. The phone means communication. The room is a part of yourself you obviously don;t know so well. Four can mean stability, materialism, down to earth. Moving is change, change can be exhausting but maybe change is a good thing here?
You're ex boy friend mayby stands for aspects of him that are well dewveloped, but that you lack in you're personality? I think this part is related to the number four (satbility, materialism, down to earth).
