The Virus of Computers & Technology
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to drop a note reminding all not to over indulge in all kinds of technology because their effects on the mind are toxic, like a virus.
The boundaries are in responsibility, good health, & wellbeing.
Thanks for listening.

Maybe it's a sacrifice we must make so our children can develop an immunity.

It seems an extension of humanity from its dawn, the stone age. What's different is the extent of reliance on so much to be able to use it, the secondary and probably tertiary reliance on: electricity; gadgets and support to make them work; politics....
I wonder how all those glued to their smartphones would make out in the days of the zombie apocalypse or a major war.
Don't rely on it more than you have to seems the answer.

Whereas conventional tools effect a physical manipulation, an extension of the human hand, etc., this technology is really an attempt to replicate what could be called 'the externalizing mind'.
While there are some limited benefits, you'll find that everything it professes to accomplish is already an available capacity to human beings internally - often with greater facility, and without various pecuniary costs, sacrifices, and vulnerabilities associated with, and often conveniently overlooked or omitted by the purveyors and users of said technology.
