smelling things!

Hello
I am having a crazy life for over the past 1 year. I have met the man I consider to be my twin flame, and am going through a process of ascension. Stating it all as simply as this does not get close to the bizarre, synchronistic things that have been going on. Like today.

I went to see 'IT' with my daughter at the cinema. I as actually quite reluctant to go because of all the changes going on in me and the awakening of my spiritual side. I was a bit scared actually. Anyway something did happen. There is a part in the movie where they joke about burps that smell. Well at that moment as they said it, the recognition of how yuk that is went through my head and I smelt that exact smell of how it is when someone near you burps who may have just eaten savoury food recently. I did not imagine the smell - it was there. Well my daughter didn't burp and neither did the two men in front of me and I knew it wasn't them anyway. It lasted nearly 10 seconds. Then it went. After that I was sure to shut my eyes in the intense scenes. I did see see light orbs in my vision a few times during the movie. This happens at other times though. Sorry this burping post is gross.. i know.

Lastly when taking our seats there was a woman 2 or 3 seats away that made me feel uneasy to look at her, so I moved seats. Please enlighten me as to what I going on. I am starting to think I really am developing something psychic.

I would say you are beginning to use your imagination, which is a great thing!

I'm a long time daydreamer, I drift off into places, for example one day I was thinking about what to buy for dinner so the daydream began, I was going round the shop I could hear the sounds and smell the smells.

This is all good for visualisation work, might lead you to interesting places ;-)

Hi Snow Goose.. I really don't think it was imagination. This cannot just be imagination..it was as real as me sitting here typing at this computer. But thank you for your reply! If it is imagination this is completely not my experience of what imagination is.

Hello Christine,

That experience has been described by a spiritual teacher as an awakening awareness. Exactly the way you describe it. You felt uncomfortable and actually moved seats because of that.

My understaning is that we are all psychic. Our culture defines a psychic as some one special. It does not describe each of us as special however.

You are evolving your senses and your intuition. That is what is going on with you. I say - Be happy about it and consider it normal for you.
