Best Oils / Incense For Stress Release

I am a high school teacher and have quite a stressful life at times. Sometimes I have a hard time winding down at the end of the day, what would be good oils or incense to look into to help me with letting go of my stress.

use something like eucalyptus to uplift, and put a smoky quartz crystal under your bed.

Lavender is known to induce rest and sleep. I will burn a stick of it an hour prior to when I lay down for the night. Works well for me.

Rosemary also induces rest and sleep.

Basil, bergamot, jasmine, lavender, lemon are among a few that'll help you de-stress. Try getting pure essential oils instead of incense as they'll be a hundred times more effective.

I'd also go with essential oil rather than incense.

If I'm feeling stressed I use Rosemary oil.

I just started using sandalwood and I totally agree, it's a very soothing and calming scent, especially while reading before bed.

Lavender, jasmine, lemon. I keep lavender and jasmine plants at home I found them pretty helpful too. But get good quality oils or incense they are a lot more effective.

You can also try out different ones and see what works for you.

Firstly, may you be blessed and kept safe, EmilyR - I have a special admiration for teachers. I work in the public education system (not as a teacher though) and see how teachers are not only educators, but nurses, mentors, conflict mediators, counselors, advocates, coaches, guardians ... have I got all the hats teachers wear??

I would also like to make a suggestion, just to add to your toolbox of stress relief methods: White sage. I have seen it in essential oil and incense sticks form. It is harvested from a North American plant that Aboriginal peoples of this continent have used for centuries for purifying the body, mind, and spirit. I burn a few sticks of it during stressful periods of my life ... hey, I just gave myself an idea for beddy-bye time tonight!

Yeah, sandalwood incense is also my own favourite choice.
