[Opinions?]Extreme relaxation, Little/no oxigen intake.
First of all, this probably doesn't belong in meditation, when I'm sleeping I sometimes wake up to a thin stream of oxygen, now, fully wake I'd say my oxigen rhythm is much faster than normal, as I'm an empath. I'm concerned about the quality of my sleep but this isn't something you can take a pill for.. I think.
Advice?

I look at like, the breath knows just what to do.

I think that's normal.. sometimes you breathe heavier at night.. sometimes you breathe lighter. It depends on the phase of sleep you wake up in.

I see now. You're both right. See, as an empath I breathe enough to keep my bursting emotion under my own control, but when I sleep that control is taken away.
[Note: I'm aware taking control is a very bad thing, but being an empath is something that I will not accept.] :Color:

Actually.. when you're awake your consciousness can often interfere with what your body really needs. When you're asleep there's nothing to worry about. The body has its own base consciousness and knows the best thing for it, which is why when we're asleep we heal better than when we're awake.
If you get in tune with your body though and relax control you can allow bit by bit your body consciousness to make itself known and regulate for you whilst awake. This makes healing a 24/7 thing and not just a night phenomenon.

I feel like you missed the empath part, but that's okay. Anyway to me oxigen is life. It heals my body and my soul. And also keeps me unempathized

Can you tell me how being an empath would make your breathing any different to anyone else's? Just trying to understand...

now, the next step is to connect the two. when you sleep you breath slower and deeper. it is natural. it is also very similar to meditation. that is why dreams can come. that is why you can travel in your sleep. that is how spirit comes.
when i sleep i go to spirit. for over three years i went to a school in the sky as i slept. when i awoke, i had to write down the notes from the class. the waking process creates the need for the faster breathing as you have been kind of in the meditative holding your breath state. so, if you can connect the two, you will remember where you were.
my teachers and guides would always know when i would awaken. so they would sign of on the lesson and say "all for now". just like a bell ringing in earth school, i would finish up on the notes and gather up the things i wanted to take with me. then, when i did wake-up, the bridge was there and i physically wrote down the notes.
i hope you can do the same.

An empath is someone who is one with the universe. It can be overwhelming for 50% of empaths, I'd say. You lose track of your breath because of all the cosmic energy you are processing at once. And that brings physical and mental ills.
I breathe so I can have the strength to be over it.
