Have you tried apple cider vinegar (with 'the mother')?
Goes in acid, but breaks down in the stomach as alkaline. i.e. helps to alkalinize the cells.
Arthritis is a disease of an acid state.

(Corn) glucosamine might be worth a try too.

Curious-one, if it is well-ingrained degeneration of cartilage, then be brave and ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist, then make a fuss about "Stem cell cartilage replacement".! (treated stem cells taken from bone marrow, usually while under anaesthetic)
If they can do it on dogs (and they do -in the UK at least, although admittedly -at a price)....then they can do it for humans!

Arthritis...
I've had Arthritis in my left knee, for the past 30 years... I understand, there is more than one type and that which I have, is incurable and not something that can be relieved in any way - or so I've been advised... It's as though I cannot take any loaded pressure on that joint and the pain; if I do: is horrendous...
Also got it in lots of other joints these days, but one can expect and accept it at my age... So no complaints as such... Smile...
Hope you can find some relief Curious-one - I kinda know what you're going through: and that ain't nice...
Robbie....

I keep thinking stem cell therapy is a brilliant solution for arthritic conditions. But of course there are financial considerations as I don't know how much the procedures would cost. But to live pain-free and able to move properly again, after minimally-invasive procedures? That must be worth quite a few $$££!
