Treatment for Arthritic hands.
I have been to a Doctor recently with an X-ray of my hands. The Dr said that I must be in a lot of pain based on what she could see from my X-rays. I don't suffer very much pain at all and the arthritis has not progressed much in 20 yrs. The medical people have suggested Glucasomine which I do take . I also take 2 capsules of New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel extract and 2 capsule of Curcumin daily.
That is why I have pain-free hands despite what my X-ray says!

That sounds like a great combination richag.
Do you also have a meat-free diet? I am genuinely interested in that, as I always thought that avoiding meat can help, but would like some more information.
I also know someone else who has very bent fingers from arthritis, but who never gets any pain, fortunately.
My mother had it badly in her hands. She had R.A. and was 'under the doctor' for it but that involved heavy drugs, which I think destroyed her immune system.
I hope you will continue pain-free! Blessings.

Thanks Tobi, I have not gone vegetarian but have reduced my meat intake substantially. Another treatment that appears to ease any pains I do get after strenuous manual work is to soak my hands in a bath of Epsom Salts (MgSO4).
Cheers
