question about accident

so i have a quesion about the afterlife and dying. what happens if a person hits a person walking with there car and dies right there. how does that person get closer? or what direction should that person take to get help to do that so they can be at peace and not so lost

I would think that the person hit would have loved ones on the other to take them to there after life .

I believe that when a person dies suddenly as in a car accident caused by someone else there's often confusion and it may take a little while for them to realize that they're dead. They will be helped by loved ones who have gone before them, and also their guides, to adjust to their sudden crossing over.

It is not that simple, otherwise the earth realm would not be full of spirits who are stuck, or what we often call ghosts.
But the question is valid. Gatherings at the sight where the accident occurred, can be helpful. The entity usually follows the body, or loved ones. This gives him or her some time to come to understand what happened. At some point the angelic who are in the non physical earth realm will make an approach. If he are she is stable enough and follows them, everything is fine and he or she can make the final transition.

Are you asking about the person who died or the person who hit them? The person who died will be helped to cross over by loved ones and guides. The person who hit them has the opportunity to learn self forgiveness. It was an accident after all, they did not intend for it to happen. As difficult as it may be they will need to learn to forgive themselves.
