I go for a walk. Or have a long soak in a deep hot bath. Or simply sit and ask myself what the problem is. But each method helps the root of the gloom to surface. Like Keare...if I try to pretend to myself that all is happy, I fear it would simly be buried and get more difficult to reach.

I usually go swimming or at least go to the gym and sit in the hottub then the sauna.
I usually try to read
If not I watch tv
if not I listen to a book on tape
If not then I listen to my meditation cd
If not I just allow myself to feel down and just get it out of me.
