I believe we meet and encounter people for a reason, but not necessarily just for me, Its a more mutually symbiotic thing, even with those that challenge or would hurt us in some way. They have their lessons for us, but I would say that if it works that way..It is only natural to suppose that it works the other way round.

Yes sometimes there is unfinished business with others you were close to before leaving to reincarnate.
Truth in light and peace.

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. — Unknown

That makes a lot of sense,Jules.
Thank you.

It's only self centered if your presume you are not doing the same thing in someone else's life.

Nice avatar

Yes I agree about reincarnation. We do meet the same people throughout life times for various reasons.

It's all too simple. Sometimes people come into our Lives for a short time and move on, sometimes they stay there for the duration. All you have to do to understand it is look behind the mask. What difference did they make to your Life at that time? What difference did you make to theirs? What did they bring, how are you changed? Have they changed because of you? And if they're still there, how would your Life be different if they were gone and vice versa?

There are no coincidences everything happens for a reason.

The people you meet and are surrounded with are your students and you’re teachers. They learn from you and you from them. Some are in your life for a moment others for a lifetime and there is a reason for that too.

Take care

Yours

I used to think the world was random. But in the last year I have met no less than five people I knew in earlier lives. With 7 billion people on this planet it would have made for one hell of a coincidence to be random meetings. I am certain we keep bumping into each other for a reason. I can't say if what happens between us is planned in advanced (although I believe in fate and have my suspicions about certain events) but I do know that these people had an impact on my past lives, and they are already having a noticeable impact on me in my current life. And I on theirs.

Yes, I truly believe some people come into our lives for a reason. I've met just the right people at the right time. Also, looking back at the past I can find examples of people who helped me more than I realised at the time.
