Meditation Experience

The other night during an evening meditation session I was sitting in my room with the lights off and my eyes partially closed, it seemed like my vision narrowed and the room darkened even more then it was or could be. I began to hear a high freq sound, at the same time the tip of my nose began to grow very cold. When I came out of my meditative state I began to look around everything look blurry or foggy. Can anyone help understand this experience?

Meditation Experience makes meditation easy, fun, and inspiring. Meditation Challenge, we receive questions from participants who are curious about the sensations they experience during meditation, including everything from tingling feelings in the body and sleepiness to the desire to cry or laugh out loud.
