Can spirits hear our affirmations and do things to not let us achieve them?

I kind of know that my house is being watched by my late great grand parents (or maybe other spirit energies too).Since they say that spirits can read our minds ,is there a possibility that what we send out to the universe as affirmations are collected/heard by them ? Suppose they don't want it to happen.For example, I am affirming about selling the house which belonged to my late great grandparents and buying a new house somewhere else and what if my great grand parents are not happy about it,would they do things to not let it happen? I am developing some fear to do my affirmations at home.I don't want my affirmations to be heard by any spirit being

It has been said spirit does not speak in words, but in images, signs, symbols, visions and dreams. Minds are capable of being read and not by only spirits passed.

But the real important matter at hand here is to let go of any fear, especially in regards to your house and your affirmations. There is absolutely nothing to fear. You will not anger your great grandparents, grandparents or any passed relative. They simply want you to be happy.

My grandfather, passed now I did not get on well with while alive, in life he did not understand me, it was only after his passing when his voice came to me in a dream, that I now understand that changes occurred within his personality after he died. His voice came to me in a vivid dream and spoke to me to say "Sarah. Stop being so negative". When I awoke I realized his voice in the dream did not sound as critical as it had in life, but rather saddened, as if in a way that he was truly grieved at my unhappiness and depression. Only in death did he come to understand my sadness, and I felt as close to him that day as I had during the rarity of the very positive moments between us two, while he was here.

Do not fret nor fear Frankie, for if any good comes from your selling of your great-grandparents house and you can start fresh and anew, I truly believe they would be more than pleased.

Fear not. With those we love, and whom love us, all that pervades us should be that of love, light, and utter joy.

No fear can come from that.

Hi - Not that I really have anything to contribute other that SaturninePluto reply was said perfectly. I too believe and know that they want us to be happy. So, Frankie know that whatever you decide as long as it makes you happy then they will be too.

I totally agree with what has been said. All spirit Beings that watch over us, want us to be happy.

Selling houses, etc, is materialistic. I feel sure they do not concern themselves with that. What I think is more likely, is that they will enable the best house suitable for you to come into being to ensure your happiness.

My husband and I moved fifteen years ago and a house that was already sold subject to contract, suddenly came onto the market again. Our own house sale had fallen through and the house which we were buying was put back on the market because of our failure to sell ours. The house that was now 'offered' to us was on the small estate we wanted but not exactly where we would have chosen. However, when we moved in we realised what had 'come our way' was even better than we had ever anticipated. We know we were being watched over as we are today.

So have no fear or doubt, just allow things to fall into place.
