Defaming Indian Scriptures is Disservice to HUmanity

Indian Scriptures consists of 18 Purans, 4 Vedas, Epic Mahabharata, and Ramayan, Upnishad etc. These are the accumulated pool of knowledge contributed by the scientists seers , and sages from all over the world, and Indians have been its custodians for millions of years.

Britannica Encyclopedia writes about the Indian view of creation as ...the creator build the universe with timber as a carpenter builds a house..' Though Indian Scriptures contain highly advanced knowledge on astronomy, creation, human history and spirituality, unknown to present day scientists and scholars, yet it has been branded as 'Mythology. ( pl see my several threads in astronomy and science and spirituality sections based on Indian Scriptures.)

After the failure of $10 billion LHC Experiment, It would be appropriate for the Encyclopedia Publishers, Nobel Laureates, Vice Chancellors of the Universities to correct and update their syllabus. Feeding people with wrong information, and misguiding students and defaming Indian Scriptures amounts to Disservice to Humanity.

People see (and by extension, write) through their eyes, the eyes of a culture they were conditioned into. So whenever someone who has been trained in a particular culture tries to analyse another culture, this happens. Its natural. The wise reader tries to read between the lines, seeing why it was done this way, and then offers up an alternative narrative.

For example, the use of the term 'creation' is nothing more than poor translation, given the paradigm its being written from. A Hindu would be far more likely to translate the process as emanation, or extension. So God expends himself, builds the universe as a tree grows its branches. There is no 'outside' creator.

Hi OPVerma,

What you really appear to be talking about isn't ethno-culture-centric, but rather a more generic exclusive materialism, and attitudes (like 'scientism'), which are consequent to that, which are the actual "Disservice to Humanity".

Ignorance is always 'defaming' Truth. That's what it does. That's what it is.

I didn't know this ...so I agree!
I hope Wikipedia doesn't call Indian Scriptures as mythology, also.
Am I the only one here that doesn't know what the LHC experiment is?

Still not sure specifically what OP was referring to though. Maybe he will return.

Wikipedia, is not any approved Encyclopedia. Let me tell you my personal experience on the subject.

Although I am not as genius as Einstein, I have detected mathematical errors in calculation of the age of the Universe by NASA, Einstein's slip in application of relativity and flaw in Hubble's formula, added 36 bio and neuro elements in the Periodic Table; rewritten world's ancient history; and so on and so on ( over 900 pages ) BY TAKING LEAD FROM INDIAN SCRIPTURES.

YET, Harvard University's Sanskrit Deptt Head dismisses Indian Scriptures outright as mythology; The Royal Swedish Academy sticks to its disproved Theories, Scientists all over the world continue with LHC like invalid experiments that are destined to fail ; Duplicate those researches that have already been done by me.

Physics and History Forums have banned me for giving reference to the India Scriptures. By doing so, all these Universities, Institutions hide the truth from people. Is this not disservice to humanity ?

However I must thank the 'National Geographic ' magazine who withdrew the Darwin's Ape Theory in their Nov. 2004 issue declaring it to be wrong, after the publication of my 'The Real History of the Ancient World' title based on Indian Scriptures, in 2002 from New Delhi and 2003 from London. I hope all scientists, academicians would follow in the footsteps of NG, accept Indian Scriptures as valid record that would be real service to the humanity.

What chance do any of we Hindus have in actually doing a "service to humanity" when the Aryan Invasion Theory is still being taught as accepted history and included in all high school textbooks, even after being proven incorrect by historians, archeologists and science alike? It is this way because academia is doing the "disservice" of not wishing to change the established status quo to disrupt any ongoing process of "human brainwashing".

I was watching a lecture by Rupert Sheldrake last night and according to experimentation, the speed of light fluctuates and it is not a mathematical constant. Science knows it, but refuses to change their views around it because once a theory becomes widely accepted by society at large, changing it leads to a loss of credibility for those of the "lay intelligencia" who structure their whole belief systems around the mechanised universe as taught by science.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JKHUaNAxsTg

What I have come to realize over the past few days, is that those who defame Hinduism and the teachings therein without being a Hindu themselves or understanding the Sanskrit language, context or application, yet defending their incorrect position regardless, gives a very good definition of the term Avidya (Avijja) which is fueled by Rajoguna (Ghora Vritti):

http://sivanandaonline.org/public_ht...section_id=878

Unless one is fully established within a higher vibrational field, the words and actions of others who have a much lower vibrational density are always going to try and drag them down to their level as a justification for them being able to accept their own lower vibrational energies and not have to lift a finger to do anything about it. Unfortunately, many of those with higher vibrations fall into the trap of allowing their spiritual energy to be vampired away by demonic parasites in the guise of human beings...and in Kaliyug, most of the world is like that now...AS foretold by scripture.

Until one has fully established themselves within the realization of Self/Brahman, avoiding these demons who wish to do any "disservice to humanity" is the best plan of action to take.

Of course this is going to cause secularism within the Hindu belief itself (as if we didn't have enough already), but there are lines of demarcation and barriers, both personal and impersonal which have not been constructed by the Saints and Rishis without a VERY good reason and therefore, the opinions of one who is a non-Hindu, should not be mattering TO a Hindu, because the former really just do not know any better and are not willing to be educated on the matter either. Why should we be the scapegoat for another's arrogance and ignorance? Oh wait, we don't have to put up with it if we choose NOT to and just walk away towards a much higher ideal, worthy of our Divine nature.

Aum Namah Shivaya
