music as a bridge to the Other Side ....

I know we can receive songs from loved ones on the Other Side .... I am wondering if it is possible to connect with loved ones using music as a bridge to the Other Side ?

Say for example, someone used to listen to certain music .... if we listen to this music, with the intention of connecting to this person, do you think it helps us to connect with them ? or not ?

This idea came to mind recently as I was listening to some music, that I hadn't listened to in a long time, which reminded me of someone, who is no longer here in this realm .... and I wondered ......can he hear the music and know I am thinking of him ? can I connect with him thru the music ?

Hi Adrienne! YES!

That was an inspired thought.

We actually immediately connect with another soul (physically incarnate or not) whenever we simply think of them (although we are already One with all), extending psychic "thought-cords," although using music would generally be a more powerful "bridge" for most people, considering how it evokes emotion.

Playing music that the loved one had favored would also generally be much wiser/safer than using a Ouija board as well, I will note, for anyone thinking of using that tool, although the "real Ouija" that attracts spirits is not actually the board, but rather it is people that are haunted, people who hold the actual mediumship power, instead of the tool in itself.

The same principle of music may be used to help facilitate "time travel" as well.

Yes anything is possible in the spirit world so why not music,as spirit are around us they know how we feel,so a connection with music is possible.

Interesting theme. The other day i was thinking about a person that already passed away he loved music as much as i do. I didn't knew hem this life but the signs he sends me are not coincidences. So i was listenning def leppard on spotify and in the momment i was thinking for some reason and the next song was from Ozzy Osbourne : see you on the other side. I checked out the lyrics an i was like in shock. The music is aleatory but it shouln't pass to the song it could be other song from ozzy or other artist.

I believe he send me a message through this music.
Just to confort and to know i have a real friend maybe lover from other lives, a brother waiting for me.

I've been getting random Grateful Dead songs popping in my head since my loved one passed. This was HIS band, not mine. He would play them and quiz me on "what song is this?" 99% i would guess the wrong song. But in the last 3 weeks (he passed 3 weeks ago), 6 bits (just a few short words of the song being sung) have popped in my head. At first I thought I was going crazy but then after talking to a wonderful person on here, I was reassured that it most likely is a sign. I had no songs by them on my ipod or iphone. Since then I have researched the best versions (by people who are really into the Grateful Dead) and downloaded each one. He would always talk about the best version of whatever song he played.

Thank you ! I do believe they can hear our thoughts even with us just thinking about them . I like the way you explained that, with the psychic " thought - cords". I didn't think about the emotion connection with the music, so true.

oh Wow johanna on that song, " see you on the other side " ! gives me shivers just thinking about that, very cool sign and message. I love it when I receive song messages , there is a certain comfort and smile it brings to one.

You are certainly not going crazy I think it is wonderful you are still receiving song messages and you will continue to do so, I just know it !

Nice idea on the downloading and cool how you are continuing with his method of searching for the " best versions ". It will be interesting to see if you receive other songs, that just focus on lyrics and are from different singers and groups. One time on the radio, and I don't usually listen to the radio ... I kept hearing this one line from a song, it kept repeating over and over for it seemed like 5 mins. I know it couldn't possibly have been that long and I know in a chorus, lines are repeated... but this was different. I can't remember what it was now, but it was like it kept repeating as if to convince me it was so ....or there was a problem with that cd, lol ! I believe it was the first thing ...

and just now as I am writing this reply to you ... I am hearing the words from a song, which I know is a message for you " just keep on believing "

ps ..... interesting to note, when I typed the song message to you from Journey, I only typed one line of " Hold on to the feelin' "

Adrienne, believe me i was in shock too. I guess he needed to talk and send me that song. And before the song appears i was thinking of him. No coincidences.
I ask him to give me a sign on a concert i will attend in october i asked him to be there. Kind of afraid and anxious for that sign.
