I believe the Bible(the Old Testement and the New Testement) are the inspired Word of God-written by Him through man.

so yeah maybe you could explain what you are trying to say

Just my musings.....

But then, not everybody on here believes like you....

Shin up!

Lol,

Your answer is funny.

But see how it was:

Before i made my first post in this thread, i have browsed the new post pages, looking only on the "Thread names", not caring about in which "sections" it was posted.
And "Thanking God" is a topic in which I AM interested in.

It is only after i have written the post #37, and scrolling down to reread it again (to correct spelling errors) where i saw the post #36 and noticed the "christian forum".

It is only after this, in editing, in which i have added the quote to Ms. Hepburn and the following statement that about "this being in the christian forum" for else i would not write at all to this, for my beliefs differ from that, what you wrote in your post #38.

And my mission is not to change your beliefs, but to share mine.

Good luck.

I strongly agree. God hates grumbling, lol and, it brings nothing but more misery. We should be grateful for the ability to take in clean (sometimes) air, access to clean water, a roof, food, clothes-when was the last time anyone here ever thanked God for their socks? Even the poorest of us in a first world country are like, way richer than 90 some percent of the whole world! Sorry, no stats.
These things used to make me feel guilty, now, it just causes me to be extremely grateful, for every single thing ♥

So I am confused by your statement that God does not know death-

and what is even more amusing is your response about this being a Christian forum.

Seriously though, I have to ponder why people who knowingly post a message in the "Christian forum" have the expectation that their response should be met with acceptance.

It would be similar to a Christian posting their belief in a non Christian forum and having the expectation that it should be accepted. And yet people who are not in agreement with the Christian beliefs find it necessary to stir the pot, poke fun at the Christian, and attempt to ridicule the christians for their beliefs.

what is even funnier is that the western culture that gives them this freedom is derived from Christian spirituality in one form or another (imperfectly/and painfully) or at least the search to follow the path Jesus seems to represent and stand for.

Sky because it wasn't always official. Sometimes people were motivated by realising what Jesus was saying and that society didn't live up to it. It might sound simple but when he says love your enemies, there is a powerful effect of such ideas on consciousness, but not always through official channels, but in one way or another.

And before Jesus? Many enlightened Master taught exactly the same message as Jesus.

I disagree. After years of having been a Christian he still didn't lift a single finger to help me out regarding my situation. And please, spare me the ''repent and be saved'' garbage because it certainly isn't gonna change my opinion on God. thanks in advance.
