If you said 'mind' instead of brain I'd agree.
Our mind is a lot more extended than just our physical body. Experiments can prove this.

Of course it would be, it's a bit hard for a physically-bodied creature to experience and process anything if it's not being recorded in their brain. Science at this time can't consistently detect or record most spiritual things; the fact they can re-create the experience by tampering with a person's brain doesn't invalidate the original experience. That would be like saying that if there was a technology that could affect the visual processing part of a brain and create artifcial images - virtual reality - that everything a person saw outside of that virtual reality was invalid. Because they could re-create the experience with technology.
However, there are likely to be cases where a person does have an out-of-body experience that doesn't actually take their consciousness outside their body. Until scientists have a way to detect spirit, it's going to be pretty hard to have solid evidence of whether or not a spirit does transport.
There have been many people who have had experiences where they witnessed or otherwise gathered information they couldn't have in their waking lives, and later were able to confirm it. Right now that is our only "evidence" as to whether or not people can astral project or it's just "in their head". And until such a time as we can prove one way or the other, it's pretty arrogant to say that only one way is possible, and it's against the nature of scientific pursuit to do so.

I can not see the future but this makes me wonder if some of the parapsychological things that are now, for the sake of an argument, mysterious, would have been scientifically explained one day, where would that lead and what would happen to us and our planet. As we know how people are ego driven and crave for power.

Robert Monroe would visit people he knew while out of body . Seeing what they were doing and where they were . Then asking them later . Proving he did see them , and it was for real .

Well....sort of ....yes.
Considering that the brain is a kind of through-put for a few items of conscious awareness, stepped-down somewhat from their original source (The Spirit) and only a small percentage available to many beings on Earth. So yes, things come through the brain consciousness, or rather, fragments of awareness are downloaded there for our convenience while in a physical form. Glimpses of awareness do come THROUGH the physical brain.
This by the way, can be expanded if we wish  and are willing to open our minds. |

First, lucid dreams and OBE are not the same.
Second, the experiments don't prove consciousness is in your brain any more than waking experience. In either case the brain might just be an access point to consciousness. Though your computer can show web pages from all over the world, that does not mean the Web is in your computer. Your computer only acts as an access point.
What the experiments show is that you can access information without receiving it with the 'five senses' located on your physical body.

In some types of OBE (like Phasing), only your awareness/perception leaves your body, you consciousness stays with your body.
