Words from God to Me

Is this the right place for this topic?

I'm not a religious guy. I try to communicate with angels and guides, but with little to no positive experiences with them, I thought I'd call on the big one. I was having a hard time last night, feeling a lot of mental anguish. I called out to God and asked him to speak through me, making the point that if anybody could do it, it would be God. So, there I was, trying to make this connection when my voice started to change a touch. I made the request over and over again.

"I am God."

The words popped out. Having doubts, I went to make the request again when I interrupted myself.

"I. Am. God."

That second time had a 'dominance' behind it. My body actually shivered/trembled. After that, this 'God' was speaking through me. Interestingly enough, my vocabulary was a little sharper and different, along with my sentence structure. All the points made were great, but the most interesting thing is that they seem more valid today. I'm finding myself encountering different thoughts and emotions, which are suddenly taking me back to specific comments from 'God' because they have more relevance now than they did last night. It's like receiving advice in advance. That part has left me contemplating a lot of things. Did I really speak to God? Ordinarily, I question God's existence. I very rarely make a prayer, and I don't trust history and its depiction of this almighty being. Even now, I can't go out and say for a fact that I talked to God because that's just the way I am, but I'm intrigued. I'm definitely intrigued.

Even if I didn't speak to God and I was merely connecting with a more logical side of myself, the advice was right, and that in itself is wonderful.
