Shungite

I recently bought a long necklace made with Shungite beads. The beads feel amazing on my neck. They really heat up!

I've been wearing it every day, but wondered if it needed to be cleansed often. I'm not sure how to cleanse shungite because I can't run it under water and am worried about putting it in the sun.

I know shungite crumbs for water cleansing need to be replaced every 3-5 months, but have no idea about jewelry.

Any help would be great!

If you have a singing bowl or chimes, you can use those as a cleansing tool.

If not, look through the thread about cleansing with sound energy, and there are YouTube links to cleansing tones. My favorite is 528 Hz, but you can investigate the others, as well.

Sound waves are good cleansing tools because they won't fade or chemically react with any stone.

you can also sit the Shungite on a piece of amethyst or quartz :)
