Having looked at a definition of confirmation bias, "is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's preexisting beliefs or hypotheses, while giving disproportionately less consideration to alternative possibilities." I think that based loosely on this definition, there are two things that arise in relation to 'confirmation bias' and the phenomena of synchronicity. ..
Did you mean that the synchronicities have a flavour, a feeling, an intellectual, spiritual or philosophical theme to them which coincides with your own beliefs or views, in other words, you only have synchronicities about jesus because your a christian ? Is that what you mean by 'confirmation bias' ?
Or do you see synchronitices as not having any theme at all, the power and revelation of any synchronicity is in the story not the characters or the props, in other words not the circumstances of that synchronicity, but in the fact the synchronicity has happened at all and you have recognised it ? So what does 'confirmation bias' really mean in relation to a synchronicity ?
