Ancestry vs. past lives

Hi! I'm wondering if there's any connection here. There's a specific region that I've been on a whirlwind of a spiritual journey with, and I always just assumed it was either a past life or ancestral memory type ordeal... but it was never confirmed that our family had any DNA. Finally, a year or so ago, that was indeed confirmed.

Do the two have ties? My specific struggle with this country is a contradiction between some deep rooted fear, but also an incredible longing for it as my 'home' and its culture. Rooting myself back to it is one of the only things that deeply calms me - to my soul - but there's also some inherent fear I'm still trying to determine. Could the ancestry and possible past lives be intermingled...?

I suggest you learn to self regress into past lives, and also learn to contact your subconscious.

What you're asking assumes that there is an objective physical reality (ancestry, DNA), and a subjective non-physical one (past lives).

I am speaking from my own experiences only...I don't think there's necessarily any direct tie whatsoever. That being said, some other lifetimes may seem to be more directly related to your current lifetime. I think what I'm trying to say is that it depends upon your soul's journey. Your journey of growth in consciousness in love and spirit.

I myself can recall lifetimes as men and as women, as fair-haired and dark-haired. Even if my appearance in some lifetimes was more similar to now, other times were less similar. And regardless of similarity to now, these lifetimes occurred in what seemed to be very different cultures. So...appearances (based on genetics) can be and usually are very deceiving.

The real and enduring similarities across lifetimes have more to do with what we might call residual character, or persistent traits of our individuated spirit and consciousness. These comprise our unique set of peculiarities, strengths, and weaknesses which we carry into and develop further (toward alignment or misalignment, as we choose) in any one lifetime.
