I like it when a black cat walks in front of me, I try to go under any ladders that I see........its all good luck to me.

It's a Ying YAng kitty! Shows me balance. i would take that as a good sign if it were me but its how you feel about it!

and hey, not all black cats are bad luck (at least to me) i own a black cat and he is very sweet and wouldn't hurt a fly.. just a few birdies here n there.

But if you are capricorn, black cat means good luck. I heard that once. People can drive themselves nuts believing in superstitions. My mom is very superstititious. I couldn't stand it. I had to walk head on into her fears just so I could stop living in her fears.

I hate that too. The most unadopted animals in pet shelters are black dogs and cats. I've had black cats and have one now. Have two black dogs as well and other black dogs since passed on. Totally loving, anything but evil. It's very sad when people pass judgement based on color or foolish things like that.

Well in England, a black cat crossing your path is supposed to mean GOOD luck! So it just goes to show blind superstition doesn't mean diddly-squat. If it's bad luck in some viewpoints...and good luck in others...?

Like psychoslice said, I always made a point of deliberately walking under ladders...that was until someone spilled white paint on me -splat! Now I avoid them like the plague!
