I think I have come up with a new technique

I have been trying to get into Astral Projecting or having a conscious OOBE. So recently, I figured I would first start learning lucid dreaming as a way to help. Last night as I was going to bed, I placed a notebook next to me. I wanted a dream journal like others suggested. This morning, I woke up around 5 AM, but wasn't remembering my dreams. I am sure if I sat long enough I would have, but instead I decided it would be easier to set my alarm for an hour, go back to sleep and see if I could remember my dreams this time. Well I am not the best at descriptive writing especially when I am trying to remember a lot of details. Instead of making myself remember and write everything upon waking, I decided on using simple descriptive words to get the main idea.

As I was falling asleep, right away, I began to find myself automatically calling out descriptions of what I was dreaming. At first I was hearing a lady speaking to me. She sounded foreboding and was making a threat, so I said the word, "Threats". Then I heard someone presenting me with a choice, so I said the word "Choice". I became aware that I was driving, and had the image of a Honda, so I said "Honda". Somehow doing this, made it easy for me to have a semi-lucid dream. I am going to try this again tonight, and tomorrow, but this time I am going to see if I can interact a little more. For example, if someone talks to me, I'll see if I can have a conversation, or if I'm driving, I'll drive around seeing where I end up. Maybe giving my conscious mind something to keep track of was enough to stay lucid. I'll have to see where this takes me tonight. I'll be sure to update if I find anything.

This is great!
I wonder if I can try this tonight.
Did you manage to interact more when you tried this other times?
