Who meditates?

With my title I was thinking of going witty and deep but I think I'll stick with the conventional ;)

*I am posting here rather than in Buddhism as I want to know about your practice :)*

So who all meditates?

I practice Zazen in the tradition of Gyobutsuji Zen Monastery in America.

Sometimes some Jhana or absorption state focus with an Ajahn Chah relaxed flavor.

I meditate...well, fixed focus gazing concentration....it's almost 24/7 now.

I follow Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.

I will lose myself in the space between two objects, in a mirror or a pool of water, the semi-darkness behind closed eyes, on an image of Lord Shiva...or I'll just sit and gaze at a candle or my lava lamp for hours and today, I'm getting lost in the trees swaying in the wind with their leaves dancing about and reflecting light at all different angles.

Other times I will sit with closed eyes and assume gyan mudra and focus on the point where my fingers touch or I'll do nadi shodhana and focus on the point where my breath touches my nostrils...etc

I don't meditate much anymore. I can't seem to find the point to it all.

When I first began to meditate it was because I was searching for something. A state of consciousness maybe. A certain knowledge maybe.

Now I meditate as a way to further enjoy the present. However I don't get much more enjoyment from it. Dare I say I don't enjoy the present moment any more deeply when I meditate, just in a different way. Since I don't see one as better than the other I don't meditate often. Sometimes I'll meditate out of discipline or curiosity, but not desire like I once did.

I guess the day that I desire to stop having so many issues I will meditate more. For now I deeply enjoy my problems.

I enjoy "meditating" in many different ways. Walking. Sitting. Singing. Gazing. Breathing. Painting. Yoga. Cleaning. Crying. Smiling... I guess I do what my body/heart decides while living day to day.

Yes I do. I find I need it to generate that calm peaceful space in my mind which then enables me to approach the world in a similarly calm way.

What makes you curious about this specifically?

I followed a link from a google search for English translation of this text because I don't know it off hand. There seem to be 112 recommended focus thoughts with this text? Many seem wonderful and worth while though I am not dedicated to these points specifically... I am not very formal in my approach beyond showing up when I can due to day to day demands for bandwidth.
