School dream

Dreamt I was studying with my brother Louie. People from my old school were playing with a giant inflatable ball, throwing it to each other over our heads. A few times it hit me or would land near me so I'd throw it back. I wanted to play but I needed to study. Jameel said he was sorry for the ball hitting me and I pulled a face and he said I looked cheeky. Then later a boy from my old school Jordan came up to me and asked if I had been in his back garden and taken his empty shower gel bottle as he found it in my home. I said no but he wouldn't believe me. Then later I was sitting there and my boyfriend Ben hadn't spoken to me all of the school summer holidays, he didn't even say hi to me when we was back at school, so I said to my sister that if he doesn't say hello or acknowledge me then I'm gonna tell him it's over. Danni was there in the background being mean about the situation but I wasn't paying much attention to her. Then later I was at a shop and Natalie an ex colleague was there with a handful charity clothes. When I was queuing up I could hear her saying she was going to put an item or two back and was trying on the one she was going to keep. I looked at the clothes and they looked a bit tatty. I thought she must of not had much money to buy clothes for work.

School dreams relate to something we are working on. In this instance you are working on your tendency to get into fight mode and battle things out with others. Louis means famous warrior. Famous just means a long running habit or behavior. I suspect this dream was a rehashing of the day at Matts families house. There was a game going on where you were each batting a ball back and forth for control. There was a battle of jabs going on. You likely learned to get into these battle of wills from your parents so there is an innate drive for you to get hooked into the battle even though you are working at breaking the pattern. Someone tried to look good by apologizing (Jamel means handsome) but you didn't buy it, likely believed it wasn't sincere so you pulled a face on them. This may have caused your emotions to turn negative (Jordan means to flow downward) and make the decision that if Matt doesn't stop demeaning you and not acknowledging your feelings you will walk away from the relationship. The real reason you may want to bolt out of the relationship may be because you feel judged (Dani in the background being mean, Dani means God is my judge). Feeling judged never feels good but the reason you may feel judged is because there is a lack of self worth. Natalie means born of Christmas but her clothes were tattered and you suspected she didn't have money. You are a gift from God but may see yourself as worthless. Work on that because Knowing your worth will help you break the pattern of fighting with others who you perceive are judging you, demeaning, disrespecting and being deceptive to you. None of that will matter when you know your own worth.

It's time to stop trying to prove your worth by fighting with those who would try to tear it down and simply live in the knowledge that you have immense worth regardless what anyone says or does. Fighting only keeps us stuck in a win lose battle of proving ourselves. There is nothing to prove, nothing to win. Just a matter of knowing we are a product of God and nothing will ever change that. So whenever you feel disrespected or demeaned and feel yourself wanting to strike back or defend yourself remind yourself of the sun analogy. Any shade anyone throws at you are just a bunch of clouds without any substance and who you are, the brilliance of you, is never affected. It can't be touched no matter how hard they try.
