Long pole

I dreamt of being upstairs in some type of shop wandering round with some kind of long long pole in my left hand. I heard this woman serving people in the shop taking a call on the phone about how the national living wage was so bad and didn’t the government know that people had bills to pay etc. The phone call was something about a new employee. I seemed to be angry thinking ‘listen to her moaning about minimum wage for a new employee when she cost me my job.’ I marched off past her to go back downstairs and she said to me ‘someone doesn’t look happy.’

Then I was looking at a printer on the floor outdoors in some kind of market town with a visual display showing words and a picture. None of the display was in colour other than that the screen was all brown background with with light orange for the words and picture and the picture was just an outline of what reminded me of a knight. I didn’t see the menu on the screen that I needed to see so I tried to press something with my foot that would take the screen back a page. Then I was in front of some car repair place, I took something out of a case that had numbers on it and went over to a box on the floor like another printer and pretended to look at the numbers and I think I wanted the people in the repair garage to see me doing it. I had a sense there was a man in the garage who I knew to be an old neighbour who no one liked. Then I went back to this case and put this thing with numbers on back in it and woke up.

I am looking for something different work wise but not shop work and I've never been in a job where somebody else lost it for me. Why would I be carrying a long pole? Not sure why I would dream of an old neighbour from years ago either.

the pole is for vaulting. i think that the dream is speaking of you having
attained a higher level than you've been accustomed to. the job you'd
once held has been taken over by someone else. you've "seemed to be
angry", as if you were somehow distant from that feeling and only observed
it second hand (from a higher level).
when you've returned to the ground floor [re-entered earthly awareness?],
you find printers at your feet. they are, in point of fact, beneath you...
your present capabilities are at a higher level. i'm hazy on the significance
of 'printers' specifically... it might relate to a need to have some kind of
plan or such put into place... but i'm thinking that that's not your responsibility,
it would be up to the mechanics (and the disliked neighbor?) to do that.

i'm thinking that this dream has little or nothing to do with finding a job;
not "practical" work anyway -- maybe 'light-work'.

'paper' in 3D is a 2D construct... but a book called 'illusions:adventures of a reluctant messiah' likened 3D to paper. I'm wondering if 3D is similar to what we consider paper, for example for those who live in 4D. If that is the case 'printing something on paper' to someone in 4D would appear to look like 'manifesting something' to someone in 3D, hence the output of a printer in 4D might be a way to change life experiences in 3D.

if all that holds any water then printers might be symbolic as a means for manifesting things.

yeah, i think the printer may be referencing the idea of 'downloading' a
copied version of information... especially given the extra detail of some
numbers being added to it [as if it were a 'coding']. it's seeming to me
that your higher self identity is anxious to become more present
with you here in the physical Lolly. there's a feeling i get that your
'greater understanding' is dependent on you to actively invite it to join
with you [your physical self might be represented by that inattentive
work crew, and the disliked neighbor is possibly representing a grumpy
aspect of your psyche which is unwelcoming].

Thank you H:O:R:A:C:E, I'll take a look. I'm quite low in mood at the moment so I probably won't be getting anything through from my higher self. Its possible that may be something from a lower realm

imo, to receive input from a particular spiritual source is more about the
direction you look in than about the location you're in presently. the only
'interference' you're apt to encounter is likely supplied through attitude.

[which is not to say that i have any abilities whatsoever in receiving
