AP mental projection state... seeking advice :)
So I'm slightly confused about this, I've read lots and lots about AP (Astral Projection). I've read that one should be focused when trying to AP. I'm always extremely focused when I try it. However at the same time I read your brain is supposed to be in the low Hz range, typically Delta to Theta (as would be the recommended binaural beats) which would get quite near a sleep state.
So I'm not exactly sure how focused + Delta-Theta mental state fit together. Am I looking at this wrong?
I've projected once and it was right after waking up. I'm still trying to figure it out though. Am I too alert?
Some people say they project on caffeine so that seems like it would be much above the Delta-Theta Hz.
Thank you for clearing this up -->:-()>

It is good to be alert and ap. It is best to be alert. You are in more control of what is going on around you. If you are not alert you can easily slip into a dream.

I've had the best success when I lay down for a nap. If you think about it, you already got a good night's sleep, so while attempting prior to a nap, you are able to be alert enough to project but your body will will sleep. If you're too sleepy you end up in dreamland. Try either attempting AP before a nap or set your alarm 2 hours before your usual wake up time. The goal is to be relaxed, calm and usually a tad bit sleepy. It's never failed me. Good luck :)
