Spiritual advancement in some cases is often found not by conquering the big things in life but through appreciating the small steps you take to get to your intended destination. Each step you take is a step towards greater understanding. Today take time out to remember important things and people from you past who have allowed you to take the steps to become who you are today. Send your past love and forgiveness if need be. Cherish the things you have learnt and the skills that you have gained because these will continue to be used as you journey along your path. Also, appreciate the valuable things that you have in your life right now whether that be family, friends, pets, a gorgeous day or a pretty rose in bloom. These things are what make up life and the things we miss most when we are gone.
