But you can ask God to send you the Holy Spirit to guide you. In fact I pray orthodox evening prayers every evening whre it is also said "send me the Holy Spirit" or something like that to be with me during my sleep.

I believe that Father God does not look at the content of our prayers but into our hearts personally because you could be praying a long prayer but your heart is not in it. Does not matter if it’s long or short because every prayer is heard by Father God so long as your heart is right. And you’ll know that God heard your prayer because peace suddenly floods your heart :)) Have a great day!
