At times with songs they are a reflection to something that has happened in the artists life path that is then put into a play on words for a song. Other times its just what flows from them and they have no clue where or why it came to be.

I note how you started out the thread "Video Killed the Radio Star" this holds a few levels to it.

I see it as the evolution of music, how when the TV took on what was traditionally radio having a hit video meant a lot to how popular your song became. In the mix many bad songs had a good image so they rose and other songs where the artists were pure music and not image they might have got lost in the mix with a really good outpouring of song.

Its evolution that changing of the times and its something in life's path at times we get lost in and we do not move on or move with the changing times. Yes we can fight the "system" and win but that is a hard thing to do.

At times we do not see the blocks that we are facing in life's path we might well feel killed off in where we are at.
